We are horrified by the continued and systemic violence and racism facing Black people and other groups. Today we are taking a pause from our normal activities to listen, learn, reflect, and plan for how we can contribute to a positive change.

Taking a pause is not inactivity—it’s intention.

In moments like this, stepping back from “business as usual” creates space to truly listen, to confront uncomfortable truths, and to reflect on how each of us can do better. Acknowledging systemic racism and ongoing violence is only the beginning—the real work is in what comes next.

Commitment to learning, to accountability, and to meaningful action is what turns awareness into change.

Holding space today matters. What we choose to do after matters even more.

Today isn’t about posting more—it’s about pausing with purpose.

There are moments that call for us to step back, not out of silence, but out of respect. To listen more closely, to learn more deeply, and to reflect honestly on the realities others face every day.

Recognizing injustice is important—but choosing to grow, to challenge ourselves, and to be part of change is where it truly counts.

Taking time today to be intentional, aware, and committed to doing better.
